Are your products cruelty-free?

Yes, we do not test our products on animals & neither do our suppliers.

 

Are your products vegan-friendly?

Yes, our bath bombs & bath dust are vegan-friendly.

How long do Soakism bath bombs fizz for?

Our bath bombs are HUGE (we use custom-made 7cm moulds!), allowing them to fizz for around or over 10 minutes! If you like fast-fizzing bath bombs, consider trying our Mini option!

Do you make bath bombs to order?

Unfortunately, we cannot make bespoke bath bombs at this time. There are many reasons for this but the primary reason is that every product we bring out must be lab assessed, which is expensive. We do, however offer a wide range of bath bombs and work hard to make sure they aren't sat on our shelves for a long time, keeping them as fresh as possible!

Why do you choose to make big bath bombs?

We believe that bath-time can be beneficial in many ways from mental & emotional to physical; with the use of aromatherapeutic scents, moisturising & kind-to-skin oils, vitamins & cleansing agents, a bath can soothe aching muscles, improve skin complexion & alter moods positively.  We all live busy lives & don’t necessarily get the “me time” we all need. Designing bigger bath bombs that don't dissolve straight away is our way of making sure that you get to reap the sensory benefits of watching your bath bomb perform. If you want to speed up the dissolving process, simply place your bath bomb under high-pressured running water - this also makes bubbles! 

We also make pourable bath dusts & packs of Mini (5) bath bombs for those who prefer a shorting fizzing time!

Could your bath products irritate my skin?

While we have thoroughly tested our products, including undergoing lab assessments, everyone’s skin is different & we cannot 100% guarantee that our bath products won’t irritate your skin. However, the creator of Soakism has sensitive skin (which is one of the reasons why she created this small business) and sought out the gentlest ingredients possible for the perfect, kind-to-skin formula! Where/how do I store my Soakism bath products?

Bath bomb colourants naturally fade in direct sunlight, while bath bombs themselves activate & deteriorate in damp surroundings. So it is important to store your bath products in a dark, dry place. For our geode bath bombs, it’s important to keep them in a cool place, so the epsom salt centre doesn’t melt. Always take a look at your product labels for specific storing advice.

Are your products safe for my bathtub? Will they stain?

Our products are made with colourants that are water-soluble, so it is extremely unlikely that they will stain. Our products go through thorough lab assessing, testing & a natural oil stabiliser that also helps to prevent stain is included in our recipe. We recommend rinsing & wiping down your bathtub before & after every use to be on the safe side. Please note that bath bombs are not suitable for use in jacuzzis & whirlpool baths.

Will your bath bombs stain my skin?

Soakism bath bombs contain water-soluble colourants, meaning that they will disperse in water & shouldn't stain your skin. If you handle our bath bombs too much, however, you may end up with a bit of staining that will fade away with the use of warm water & soap.

Are your bath bombs suitable for children?

Soakism’s lab assessors recommend that persons aged 3 years & up are allowed to use Soakism bath bombs.  Our products are gentle to skin, however, parental supervision is required if you decide to use our products on your children. Please refer to your bath bomb’s label for information on allergens & cautions regarding children. We suggest that children use our Mini bath bombs (i.e, a smaller 'dose'), to be on the safe side!

Can I use bath bombs in hot tubs/Jacuzzis?

No. Bath bomb oils are known to build up & stain Jacuzzis & whirlpool baths. Our bath bombs are for bath-tubs only.

 

How long will it take to receive my order?

To make things fair for our customers, we ship in order of date placed. Once payment has gone through, your order will then take up to three days to process. During this time, we will be getting your goodies ready & packaging them for safe travels. When your order is on its way, we will email you to let you know & depending on which method of delivery you have chosen, your order should get to you within (2-4 days). Please don’t contact us straight away if your order hasn’t gotten to you within this time frame - with recent world developments, the postal systems can be a little delayed.
